Jiahui Health CEO: thumbs up for China’s most open city
By:Liu Yilin  |  From:english.eastday.com  |  2018-08-07 08:56

Win-win mode promotes Shanghai’s health literacy

With Jiahui’s full operation having started, Shanghai and the nation’s citizens are able to enjoy world-class medical services. Taking cancer as an example, patients can receive medical services that are of the same standards as the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center through Jiahui’s international multidisciplinary consultation platform. They will be jointly diagnosed by experts from China and the USA while benefiting from the latest therapies and clinical trials without having to travel to a different country.

The establishment of foreign-invested hospitals has changed not only the medical service level. With more local medical personnel joining them, Jiahui is going to send Chinese medical students who would normally specialize to Massachusetts General Hospital, the largest teaching hospital affiliated to Harvard Medical School, to receive a more well-rounded training in professional medical technology and administration up to international standards. The goal is to further implement a hierarchical medical system and resolve the unordered hospitalization situation in China.
